FAQ

  • There is a non-refundable booking retainer required to confirm services. This amount is deducted from the total balance and is not an additional cost. 50% of your total balance is due as a retainer fee, and the remaining 50% is due upon the date of the service.

    Deposits can be transferred to another date if a 14 day notice is given or for emergency weather circumstances.

  • First, head over to the window painting page & submit the form, and we will respond ASAP! Guaranteed within 24 hours. After a free short consultation you will receive a link to a secure payment portal, where the retainer fee can be paid and our service contract can be e-signed. This final step confirms your booking.

    Mock-ups are available via email within 7 days of submitting the deposit payment and service contract.

  • A window splash can be removed with a stainless steel razor blade and soapy water.

    Removal is free if you have a follow-up painting booked or have purchased a window painting package. Go ahead and choose your favorite holiday or celebrate them all with custom hand-painted art!

  • Please remove any obstructions in front of the window such as benches, flower pots, etc. Sweep the area and have the windows cleaned. Do NOT apply any product such as Rain-X.

  • Typically, I paint the outside of the window because the colors are more vibrant and a glare is a non-issue. However, if it is too cold or too hot outside we will paint the inside of the window or upon request.

  • Actual job time will depend on the size of the area painted and the content of the windows. The least amount of time is typically three hours. Proper technique is prioritized over speed and with layering the paint, dry time varies upon the weather. Each layer needs to dry before going on to the next. I don't charge by the hour but by the job so time spent on the job will not impact the price.

  • I typically do not charge a travel fee unless the event is further than 30 miles from me. If your location is 30 miles from the Pearland, Texas area then I typically charge a $25-50 travel fee dependent on mileage. I do waive travel fees for jobs over $1000. I am open to traveling across Texas if you need multiple locations painted. Email me at bugsfacepaint@gmail.com for special requests.

  • I work with several area nonprofits, charities, and fundraising drives throughout the year. I limit the number of these as I am not only donating my materials and services, but blocking out a work day for them. I do this for a living and while I admire the efforts of so many worthy organizations, I have to moderate how much I give. I am more than happy to speak with you about your organization and try to work with your budget.
